Blog Makeover

There are some major changes going on around here and I am so excited to tell you about it all!  Almost one year ago, I started this blog with the intention of keeping our family updated on the little ones.  Honestly, when I started I really wasn't sure if it was something I would want to commit to on a long term basis.  As the year progressed, I realized I love blogging and I enjoy using it as a way to record the many milestones, big and small, of my children.  I also realized though that I want to share more about all we do to make our house feel like a cozy little home.  With this realization came the desire to spruce things up a bit.

I've been thinking of changing the name of the blog for a while, and finally settled on a new title.  Belle, Oscar, and James is now Nesting Bliss.  Just in case you were redirected here from the old blog spot, the web address is www.nestingbliss.com.  I'm also making changes to the appearance of the blog.  Hopefully, those changes will be complete over the next couple of days.  So there you have it.  I hope you like the new name!

Well now, I can't do a post without sharing pictures.  Here are my little chicks all dressed for Easter last Sunday.
As you can see, I FAILED at getting all three of them to smile at the same time.  Greyson kept trying to crawl away to get his cup and Brinkley only wanted to play with his blocks.

Then Brinkley became upset when Travis attempted to take away said blocks.  Motherhood lesson for that day???  I should be satisfied that they at least sat still long enough to take a picture.  And two out of three smiling definitely counts.
Here are a couple more that I haven't shared from the week before Easter.

I attempted to make an Easter egg topiary based on several I'd seen on the internet.  Here's the result...
I wanted to make two so I would have a nice, balanced display on the island but I only managed to do one.  Maybe I'll do the second one next Easter :).

Kinley and I put together this sweet treat for her class's Easter party...

They were pretty simple to make.  Just Peeps on a lollipop stick!

Just before we left for school that morning, I caught Kinley staring out the door.  I think she was watching the snow melt on the deck.
The day of Kinley's Easter party was the last day before spring break.  We didn't have any major plans for the week.  We spent a lot of time in our pajamas.
The kids enjoyed playing with the eggs I didn't use on that second topiary.

Stay tuned for more updates to the blog.
Happy Spring!
